The MCCS Board is pleased to announce that we have a new 1/2 teacher!  We are so grateful to all those who served on the Hiring Committee to help select the newest member of our MCCS teaching team.  Shannon graduated from Western Oregon University with her B.S. in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education, and a focus in both Math and Earth Science. She is currently working toward her Masters in Education with a Reading Endorsement.
Shannon comes highly recommended and exudes a passion for teaching math and science. Having dedicated countless hours to volunteerism and community service (including many hours at various elementary schools, the Migrant Seasonal Head Start preschool in Cornelius, Or, and the Mt. View Elementary Spanish Club to name a few), Shannon will no doubt set yet another wonderful example of commitment to and involvement in our surrounding community.  Learn more about Shannon on our Staff page.
